FEP Grade 1 Field Trip to Taman Burung TMII

Jakarta, LINK—Grade 1 students Full English-Primary (FE-P) with their teachers, Ms Leonita and Mr Adi visited Taman Burung, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta on October 21, 2019.

Before we entered, at the main gate we had a group picture with the guide, Kak Ela. She guided us all the way. She explained about the habitat of the birds. There are different types of birds from all over Indonesia. She explained about the 30 types of birds which are on the verge of extinction and the efforts that are needed to safe them.

It has 125 different types that are inside nine domes. After the visit the students visited a small fish pond which is inside the same area.

This visit really helps the children to learn about nature and introduce them to various birds species. (Leon/JMC)
