SCHOOL LIBRARY

Jubilee School has a well stocked library, with an impressive index of titles, covering both fiction and nonfiction, resource /reference books , dailies and magazines. Students are encouraged to make full use of this facility to develop a love for books from an early age. In addition, our library also features an integrated ICT corner to compliment the research activities.

 

A major attraction in our library is the 'Children Reading Corner' that is specially designed to encourage younger students to venture into the wonderful world of story books.

SCIENCE LABORATORIES

It is imperative for schools with international standard to have the latest and high quality science lab supplies these days especially since science is different from any other subject. In order to help students understand science concepts, they have to look beyond books and conventional classroom teaching. Effective teaching and learning of science involves seeing, handling, and manipulating real objects and materials.

In Jubilee School, there are three Science Labs namely Physics Lab, Biology Lab, and Chemistry Lab. Each lab is certified with international standard as prescribed by Cambridge and therefore equipped with the necessary tools and ingredients which will allows students to get a first-hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own.

ICT & COMPUTER LABORATORIES

ICT is now an integral part of students life, therefore we integrate the use of ICT throughout the curriculum as a teaching tool. The fibre-optic connects every department in the School and provides network and Internet access to pupils and teachers from all ICT laboratories, staff rooms, the library and administrative offices in the School. Teaching in class is no longer restricted to traditional methods as we encourage our faculty to use  use computer-aided visuals and lectures with the latest graphic modules. There are currently over one hundred and fifty computers distributed into five computer labs available for students to use.

CHILDREN PLAY AREA (INDOOR & OUTDOOR)

An outdoor and indoor play areas provides a safe atmosphere for our young students. Soft play areas and equipment provide a variety of activities for the students to be occupied and stimulated. These areas are specially designed to help our young students develop their gross and fine motor skills, hand-eye-coordination, as well as social skills.

CHILDREN ACTIVITY ROOM

We also have well equipped and spacious rooms provided with a wide variety of resources aimed at stimulating the interests of young students during recreation time and also for specific class activities. Educational toys, puzzles, models, bricks, blocks are all carefully selected for the children to enjoy their kindergarten years and to develop their potential through playing and fun activities.

AUDITORIUM / SPORT HALL

A multi-purpose auditorium with a seating capacity of more than 700 is used for all major school functions as well as indoor sport activities.

MULTI-PURPOSE ROOMS

There are three smaller auditoriums which are often used for all sort of activities, including seminars, trainings, student activities, and parent-teacher-conferences.

SPORT FACILITIES

Along with academics, physical fitness is given importance in Jubilee School. To provide students with physical health and strength, we have sport facilities in the school which include basketball court, a futsal court, and swimming pool.

SCHOOL CANTEEN

The school has a canteens that offer a wide range of snacks, meals, and beverages. Care  is taken to avoid unhealthy food. Quality of the food and hygiene are well maintained and comes in affordable prices.

BOOKS & UNIFORM STORES

To provide a one-stop service for our students and parents, we house a well stocked books and uniform stores, which offers text books, note books, uniforms and a range of miscellaneous items at special prices.

SCHOOL CLINIC

The school has an adequately-equipped clinic, manned by a certified doctor and one nurse. All first-aid emergencies will be taken care of by the attending doctor before being directed to a nearby hospital if deemed necessary.
